Application Process

Our application process will vary from role to role and will depend on the segment of the role and the client. However, the general process is outlined below. 

Applying for a Job

You can search and apply for all roles listed with Kind Recruitment as well as register your interest for future jobs with our clients. There is a “Apply Now” button located at the bottom of each job advert.

First impressions count so ensure your resume is up to date and highlights skills and experience relevant to the role for which you are applying. This will give you the best chance of being shortlisted for the next stage.

There may be additional role specific questions which you’ll need to answer so we can consider your application.

Phone Interview

If you’re successful in being shortlisted, you may be called to participate in a phone interview or phone screen.

During this call, our Recruitment Consultants will confirm your personal details and may ask you further questions to ensure your job application is complete.

Interviews are an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to obtain more information about the client, position and our application process.

Client Interview

If you are successful in being put forward to one of our clients. You will be invited to an interview at the clients office. 

Interviews may take place with a representative from HR, the hiring manager or a combination of both. The number and type of interviews across the segments will vary.

We will brief you on the type of interview, the client and their application process before the interview. 

Psychometric Assessments

This may be used as an additional objective, reliable and relevant assessment method. Types of psychometric testing that may be used include verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, abstract reasoning and personality tests.

References, Licences & Background Checking

Before you are offered a role, we will need to confirm a number of checks. This may include a Police Check, Working with Children’s Check, other Licence & Qualification checks, Reference checks and the ability to Work in Australia.

All employees will be required to pass a police check. Further details of this will be explained to you during the recruitment process.

If you do not complete and pass the relevant background checks you may not be able to work.

Managing your Information

Whether you apply for a vacancy or register your profile to be considered for future vacancies, you will be providing Kind Recruitment with confidential information about yourself.

By maintaining an up to date record on our database you can choose to be kept informed of vacancies that are relevant to your preferences and skills.

Additionally key pieces of information can be automatically pre-populated into any future applications, saving you valuable time.

Residency, Citizenship and Visa requirements

Applicants must fulfil local residency, citizenship or visa requirements to live and work in Australia. You can find more information about how we work with International Candidates.
